The talented Mr. Mohamed Raja Farhat has performed his Play “Bourguiba…the last Prison” in Dubai. More than 300 attended and were fully engaged by the charm and artistic skills of Mr. Farhat. Attendees have highly appreciated this event organized by TBC-Dubai & NE that allowed the community to gather, once again, and to share this exceptional moment of high level Art. The event has triggered a tremendous media buzz in the newspapers, on line press and TV.
An important delegation from the CCIS has visited Dubai and asked TBC-Dubai&NEto assit them meeting economical decision makers in Dubai. Within the core of its mission, the TBC represented by its President and Treasurer has deployed all efforts to help the CCIS achieving their objectives which consist in developing business partnerships and cooperation with their counter-parts in UAE. TBC-Dubai&NE organized a very high level meeting with Dubai Chamber of Commerce Executive Staff and provided all advices and support to the our Tunisian colleagues. A letter of appreciation has been received from the President of CCIS.
As part of its mission to strengthen le ties within the Tunisian Community, TBC-Dubai & NE organized a “Get Together” during the holy Ramadhan 2011 in Dubai. More than 100 attended this friendly gathering enjoying sohour and Ramadhan ambiance. This event will be repeated during 2012 and it shall become a “tradition” inchaa Allah.
The TBC-Dubai&NE has organized this event under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Said AL Maktoum who attended the event that witnessed more than 500 people from Tunisian, Emirati and Libyan communities. The Artist and Singer Lotfi Bouchnak performed an exceptional recital of his best songs and improvisations that mesmerized the audience. The net proceedings were around $US 200,000 that have been sent to the Tunisian Red Crescent to help those in need. We believe that was the largest fund raising of its kind organized in Dubai for the benefits of the Red Crescent Tunisia. We express all gratitude to all attendees, all Artists and all sponsors who made it happen.
